I’m not your typical 49-year-old.
First off, I’m flattered that you showed interest. Truly.
But fair warning — you might be offended if we ever met… because sometimes, you’d have to play second fiddle.
After a few years of being an adventurous sheep, I’m now back home and fully committed to actively waiting on Jesus’ return.
So, if you’re more concerned about whether your eyebrows match than whether you’re willing to be inconvenienced by the Lord, please do pass your pretty self on by.
I am definitely not for you.
I’m in my element when I’m doing outreach. What’s the worst management can say?
“Please sir, if you want to sing, could you do it outside?”
Today marked a new season. I ended outreach with this line:
“The two most important dates in our lives are the day we are born, and the day we discover why.”
Shortly after… I was politely ushered out.
I love to host and share my passion as a foodie — especially my keto almond sponge cakes — and yes, I’m proud to admit I’m a coffee snob.
By God’s grace, I am what I am.
This war veteran is now hungry to succeed in all endeavours and to be about God’s business.
I’m happiest when I get to worship in public and then preach — because once the seed is planted, God does the watering. And more often than not, I get to connect with people right where they are.
I desire a like-minded soul — someone who wants to enjoy life, advance God’s kingdom, and live with eyes fixed on eternity as we anticipate Jesus’ return.
I’m willing to take risks for the adventure of a lifetime and to experience the true desires of my heart. Sometimes, we have to step into the unknown to experience more of God.
Today, men especially need to become comfortable being uncomfortable. God loves to show up when it’s inconvenient — and as heads of the home, we must embrace our priesthood.
Now is the season to pursue, overtake, and recover all the enemy has stolen from us.
Amen.
If you care for the lost —
Shout me.
